Performatives spaces or spaces in progress are
spaces where people are given the opportunity to create surprises and interact
with the walls. In these installations, the soap records the touches and stains
left voluntarily or not by the daily users. The “gestural arena” is
then “immortalised” with a recording medium (photos, drawings...).
Through the notion of performative, design can create more ‘human
presence’ and sociability within the space.
