Taiwan’s international identity has been
formed through manufacturing products to meet the tastes of the West. As a
result of historical circumstances, Taiwan’s cultural identity is blurred
and in danger of vanishing.
My project constructs objects which combine
Western and Taiwanese culture. By utilising this method to create a new form of
communication, I hope to encourage people to reconsider their relationship to
cultural identity.
